Pick of the Plots: Monday 1st May

It’s the morning of Albie’s christening and Keanu is conflicted about a job that Ravi wants him to do. He decides to fit the job in around the christening after his nose is put out of joint by Martin and Zack’s present for Albie.

Ravi gives Keanu details of the job, explaining he will be will be transporting drugs in white goods.

Keanu just makes it to church in time, but his van’s alarm goes off during the service. Keanu and Sharon rush outside where the police are waiting. Sharon reels as the police arrest Keanu for intent to supply.

Meanwhile, Jay has a day out planned for Lola as a treat, but she’s exhausted and a situation at the undertakers means it can’t go ahead. Billy notices that Jay is doing too much and resolves to take the pressure off him.

Elsewhere, Kim advises Denise to take control of the Jack situation. Denise finds Jack and the kids about to head out for the day and she invites herself along to their escape room activity. The family have a good time, but when they get home, the kids suggest Denise and Raymond should move back in.

Also, Alfie notices how down Linda is as Janine is being sentenced today. He tries to cheer her up with Coronation party talk, but she doesn’t want to know.

After locking horns with Tim, Elaine agrees to fly to Vegas that afternoon to marry Stephen. Sally breaks the news to Tim.

Tim offers to run Elaine and Stephen to the airport, making out that he accepts their marriage plans. Tim lures Elaine into his taxi, but leaves Stephen on the doorstep. Tim then speeds away with his mum a hostage in the car.

As Sally and Stephen watch in disbelief, will Tim be able to put a stop to his mum’s wedding?

Meanwhile, Dee-Dee introduces Paul to Trish, a woman she met online who lost her husband to MND. As Trish describes the stages of MND and what to expect, Dee-Dee urges Paul to tell Billy and his family about his condition, but will he listen?

Elsewhere, Adam books a table at the Bistro for his birthday as Damon offers to throw in a bottle of champagne. Will Sarah be able to mask her unease?

Also, Amy boards the bus into town to meet a uni friend, but when a guy sits next to her, she suffers a panic attack and orders the bus driver to pull over.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Suzy is mistrustful when Faye is cagey on a bank transfer for the auction fund. She tells Mary her suspicions.

Mary is affronted by Suzy’s claims and sends a large donation through to Faye to double down on her commitment.

Meanwhile, Arthur and Marshall agree to go on their first date.

Elsewhere, everyone says a tearful goodbye to Cathy.
