Contenders, ready! Gladiators, ready! The iconic sports entertainment gameshow Gladiators will be returning to telly screens once more in its brand new home on the BBC and viewers can be part of the action by applying for free tickets to witness the new generation of Gladiators in action.
The show which originally aired on ITV in the UK, with a later revival by Sky One, will be back for its second revival with a brand new generation of superhuman Gladiators who will compete against a brave set of contenders in the ultimate test of speed and strength. They will take part in a series of brand-new games alongside classic challenges including fan-favourite The Eliminator.
Filming will take place in and around the spring school holidays at the Utilita Arena, Sheffield and audiences can be the first to experience the power in this spectacular family day out.

Earlier today it was announced that one of the original Gladiators, Falcon, had died aged 59 after battling cancer. During 1993-1999, Falcon – whose real name was Bernadette Hunt – competed on the show that pitted members of the public against superfit Gladiators in a series of physical challenges.
