The Last of Us pulls in big numbers for Sky.
The post-apocalyptic US drama The Last of Us ended its run on Sky Atlantic with over 3 million viewers. The finale episode so far has been viewed by 3.1 million viewers across 7-day ratings data set. This puts its ahead of House of the Dragon finale which aired in 2022 on Sky.
Sky have said that the finale episode of The Last of Us is the network’s biggest finale audience ever for a US debut-series.
The Last of Us, which is produced by the HBO network in America, is based on the 2013 game of the same name. With over 4 million tuning to the first episode in the states, the broadcaster confirmed the show had been renewed for a second season.

The final episode of The Last of Us which aired on Sky Atlantic had an overnight figure of 1.2 million viewers, putting it ahead of the Love Island final which aired the same night on ITV 2.
