Carol Vorderman, Shaun Ryder and Amir Khan are some of the celebrities confirmed for the all stars series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.
Some of the biggest I’m A Celebrity! contestants from the past twenty years have taken part in new series filmed in South Africa. It’s the first time the ITV reality series has been filmed outside of Australia on ITV’s own creative decision. Two series in 2020 and 2021 were filmed in Wales due to Covid-19 restrictions. The annual production launched in 2002.
During last night’s Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, the first nine legendary contestants were revealed. They include Carol Voderman, Shaun Ryder, Amir Khan, Helen Flanagan, Phil Tufnell, Jordan Banjo, Paul Burrell, Janice Dickinson and Fatima Whitbread.

The South African series was filmed last year, meaning no live trials or evictions. The campmates will take part in trials and fight for the title of I’m A Celebrity Legend.
It’s not known if other celebrities will make surprise appearances during its run, as names such as Joe Swash and Gillian McKeith were rumoured to have taken part.
Ant and Dec tweeted last year:
“It’s probably the worst kept secret in television, but we can confirm we’re doing a very special series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa! We’re here, it’s going to be your favourite celebrities from the last 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa will air on ITV 1 and ITV X at the end of April.
