Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 21st March

Chelsea counsels Whitney to talk to Zack about how she feels, but she’s mortified by his rejection.

Sam accompanies Zack to the clinic; Sam asks some difficult questions on Zack’s behalf about when he can have sex and if he and a partner can try to conceive. Back in Walford, Sam implores Zack to tell Whitney the truth, and he goes to see her.

Meanwhile, Chelsea takes Felix and Finlay to The Albert to give Whitney and Zack some space. However, she’s annoyed to find Ravi is there, and even more irritated when a mystery blonde joins him.

Chelsea tries to make Ravi jealous. It looks like her plan has failed when Ravi and the girl leave, but when Chelsea steps outside, he’s waiting for her and offers to take her for a ride on his motorbike…

Elsewhere, Lola is fretting about Emma’s sudden exit so Jay invites Emma to the car lot to explain herself.

Also, curious as to how he’s making money, Stacey and Eve  interrupt a clandestine meeting between Freddie and Rocky in the laundrette back room.

When Naomi catches Alex in a lie about the non-existent job interview, he promises to explain everything. He soon has an innocent explanation for his meeting with the mystery woman.

After introducing Clare and her son Max to Naomi, he explains he’s been helping her financially after meeting Max’s dad in prison. But is everything as it seems?

Meanwhile, Sarah and Chloe return to the village. When Chloe reveals she is only back for a medical appointment and will be moving permanently to Scotland soon, Mack is relieved.

After watching Chloe and Mack interact, Moira is sure there’s more to this situation, but she lets it lie for now.

Elsewhere, Paddy and Chas manage to have a civilised conversation about breaking the news to Eve that Paddy is moving out.
