EastEnders star’s journey to launching a self-love simulator charted in podcast

Charlie, 41, who is best known for her role as Janine Butcher in EastEnders, has worked with Auddy to produce a documentary-style podcast series, which follows her as she brings a product of her own design to market.

She is behind the award-winning female pleasure product, The U, which is available for sale with partner Ann Summers.

She uses a combination of voice notes and live recordings to tell her story, including interviews with experts, discussing prototypes and finding a partner to launch her product.

Auddy producer and editor, Holly Aquilina, said:

“It has been extraordinary sharing this journey with Charlie over the last four years. We have captured the highs and lows as she created her product and the end result is an open, honest story that many women across the world will connect with.”

The actress breaks down stigmas surrounding female pleasure through her conversations with experts, educators, and entrepreneurs. However, with plenty of self-doubt, it has not been an easy journey for her.
