Strictly’s Janette Manrara hosts Disney fan competition
To mark Disney’s 100th anniversary, Disney Parks & Resorts is launching a competition to crown the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara is hosting a competition to find the UK’s Biggest Disney fan.
Applications will be open for two weeks until 13th February 2023 for the competition. After that, a Disney committee will select a shortlist of ten Disney fans and their families to take part in the ultimate Disney holiday over the Easter break.
This includes special visits to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and a sailing aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship.
With Janette as host, the fans and their families will compete in 10 challenges throughout the Disney theme parks and on-board the Disney Wish, all for the chance of winning the coveted title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
The winner will be crowned with the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and will receive a money-can’t-buy stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite, which is found through a secret doorway inside.

“As a life-long Disney fan, I’m thrilled to be part of the crowning of the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida 43 times, the first time when I was aged one, and I even managed to get my husband onboard by putting an annual Disney Parks visit in our wedding vows before we honeymooned in Disneyland Paris!

How to enter
Upload a short video from a public Instagram account, tagging @DisneyParksUK and using the hashtag #UKsBiggestDisneyFan and stating why you would like to compete for the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.
Alternatively, head over to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris or Disney Cruise Line UK Facebook pages and post a clip in the comments of the competition post.
Speaking on the competition launch, VP of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA, Angelica Costantini, said:
“This is a hugely exciting way for us to come together and share our Disney stories and memories during our 100th Anniversary year. We are inspired by the fans and families who have brought us into their hearts over the last 100 years and we wanted to choose a prize that reflected that.
“The 10 short-listed fans and their families are destined to have a truly magical time experiencing Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney Cruise Line, all whilst competing for the title UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.”

Entries close on 13th February 2023. Entries cannot include music. Only one valid entry per person across all social media platforms. Must be a resident of United Kingdom, be aged 18 or over to enter and be able to travel over the Easter Break; 31st March to 13th April 2023.
