Hollyoaks recasts Lucas Hay as Oscar Curtis joins the soap

Hollyoaks have recast Ste’s son Lucas

Hollyoaks bosses have announced that Oscar Curtis is taking over the role of Lucas Hay, who was previously played by William Hall.

The recast comes ahead of a new issue-based storyline that will see Lucas’ father Ste (Kieron Richardson) being tested as a parent.

Viewers can also expect to see the character connect with others in his age range as he “experiences student life’s trials and tribulations”.

Talking about joining the Channel 4 soap, Oscar says:

“I’ve felt so welcome at Hollyoaks, the cast and crew feel like a real family. My first day was so exciting and I’m ready for the fans of the show to see the new Lucas. You can definitely expect drama, emotions and everything in between.”

Oscar Curtis’s first appearance in the soap will be on Wednesday 15th March on E4 and All 4, and Thursday 16th March on Channel 4.
