OTD 1975: New mums ponder the year 2000
On this Day, January 2nd 1975
ATV Today saw Bob Warman asking mothers of New Year babies what they think the future will be like for their children in the year 2000 when they reach the age of twenty five.
Most of those Bob speaks to say that life is not easy and are not optimistic for the future.
By the year 2000 Bob Warman was still the main news presenter on ITV in the Midlands, hosting Central News. Bob retired from the daily news show last year after nearly 50 years on-air across ATV Today, Central News and ITV News Central.
