Kiri is stunned when Glen apologises and admits he missed her party because of his relapse. Terese learns Sapiko & Bazz Holdings has gone bust and smells a rat. On the surface, Mackenzie appears to be handling her grief, but in private she lets her pain out.

Even with David facing jail time, Paul focuses on hiding his assets. With Zara’s encouragement, Amy organises a date only to be stood up. Byron makes an excuse to get out of his first meeting at Rebecchi Law, instead bringing confidential paperwork to a mysterious client.

Terese considers Paul’s offer to buy her out of the hotel. David’s family are shocked when they learn he’s to be held in a maximum security prison until his sentencing, instead of on remand. Melanie struggles with reminders of how loved and respected Sonya is.

Terrified for his safety, David’s support crew fight to get him out of the maximum-security prison. Chloe tries to distract herself from the stress of David by getting hot and heavy with Kiri, but the mood isn’t right. Melanie reveals her insecurities about Sonya to Amy.

Everyone is horrified to learn what’s happened to David. Byron’s saucy extracurricular appointments are getting in the way of his job with Toadie. While at a grief group, Mackenzie gets a glimpse into the hurt others are still carrying over Hendrix and it weighs on her.

Nikau and Bella prepare Nikau’s application for a full-time paid lifeguarding job. Felicity, Mac and Dean try to save Tane’s life without involving the police, relying on Logan’s medical expertise. Rose’s investigations worry Cash and lead her closer to the truth.

Bella brushes off an enthusiastic John on his way to the council meeting. As Tane’s condition deteriorates, Logan prepares to perform an emergency blood transfusion. Mackenzie is determined to get revenge on PK. John implores Alf to be overprepared. Reeling from the threatening photograph, Dean attacks PK in the surf club. Dean has a job for the River Boys. An anxious Roo frets about the upcoming transplant surgery.

An Akeen Theo grabs the chance to do a coffee run for the garage staff — and see Chloe.

Xander is off to an exceptional start as a paramedic in the Bay, but his attachment to Millie remains. Millie’s memories return. Theo and Chloe are on thin ice after a horrible date, but Theo apologises with a bouquet and some honest words. Roo’s family forces her to relax.

Cash and Jasmine are loved up. Millie leans on Xander for support. Rose halts Xander’s attempts to get information about the investigation. Jasmine cautions Xander about overstepping his professional duties. Rose discovers PK’s identity. Justin and Leah find a body in the dunes.
