James ‘Arg’ Argent remembers Tom Parker

The reality star spoke following the singer’s funeral this week.

James ‘Arg’ Argent spoke to Good Morning Britain exclusively about his friendship with The Wanted’s Tom Parker – praising him for being caring and full of great advice. Joining Kate Garraway and Richard Bacon in the studio, Arg spoke of his friendship with the singer, how he helped him through tough times of his own, and how he sought Tom’s wife Kelsey’s blessing before coming on the show.

Tom died in March aged 33 after a battle with an aggressive brain tumour, with the funeral held yesterday, which Arg attended.

“It was extremely sad at times – it was tough for everyone, however there were really special beautiful moments throughout the day and it really felt like Tom’s presence was there. It couldn’t have gone any better. The sun was shining.”

“I checked with Kelsey and she was really keen on me coming on. She didn’t want me to just talk about me and Tom’s friendship, just the fact of how much of an incredible person he was.”
