ATV Midland News meet Devinder Singh Baba, the first Sikh bus conductor in Birmingham.
The report shows Mr Baba, who was from Edgbaston and came to Britain in June 1962 as a graduate in engineering from the University of the Punjab, wearing his uniform, boarding the bus and inside taking fares.
He was based at the Harborne depot of Birmingham’s Transport Department.
