Bookies have priced ‘Diana, The Musical’ as odds on favourite at 10-11 to win Worst Picture at The Razzies

Diana, The Musical heavy favourite for Razzies Worst Picture after being slammed by critics…

William Hill have placed Diana, The Musical at 10-11 odds on favourites to win this year’s Worst Picture at The Razzies.

The filmed performance of the Broadway show was added to Netflix in late 2021, and was described as ‘this year’s most hysterically awful hate-watch’ by The Guardian.

Slated by critics, Diana, the Musical barely gained any traction and has been ridiculed online where it scored just 4.5/10 by IMDb and a mere 12% by Rotten Tomatoes who despair ‘Diana done dirty’ in their critical review.

Diana, The Musical is expected to beat LeBron James’ Space Jam: A New Legacy (21-10) to the undesirable Razzies prize. Sequel to Michael Jordan’s Space Jam, LeBron James’s offering in A New Legacy has fallen on deaf ears and has underwhelmed fans of the Warner Bros. franchise, leaving the sequel a short second behind Diana for the Razzies title.

Front-woman and favourite for Worst Actress for her title role in Diana the Musical, Jeanna de Waal (4-6) has hit back saying “audiences who come to see our show, who wear tiaras and boo at Charles, are just as deserving of their entertainment as someone who goes to the movies and weeps.”

Joining Diana in the Netflix spotlight is The Woman in the Window, an American psychological thriller starring Golden Globe winner Amy Adams as an ‘agoraphobic child psychologist’. The ‘predictable’ screen version of the best selling book is suffering at the hands of critics and is 10-1 for The Razzies Worst Picture.

Top 5 contenders for Worst Picture:

  1. Diana, The Musical (10-11)

  2. Space Jam: A New Legacy (21-10)

  3. Karen (7-2)

  4. Infinite (8-1)

  5. The Woman in the Window (10-1)
