Stuart tries to apologise to Sonia but his refusal to face what is happening is beginning to wear thin with her. Stuart’s anxiety is heightened by his suspicions that Rainie is playing away from home.
In the market, Rainie confides in Mick her worries about Stuart and he offers to help her look for Vi. Stuart sees them together and is convinced that Mick is the other man.
Meanwhile, Mick agrees to help Janine by pretending that they are a couple when the social worker pays a visit. Jay publicly berates Mick over his backing of Janine and accuses him of having an affair with her.
As Jay refers to Janine’s past, Stuart overhears and assumes that he is talking about Rainie. Unable to control his anger, Stuart lashes out and punches Mick.
Meanwhile, Phil tells Ben that he is selling the business due to Ben not being able to handle it. Ben begs him to reconsider.
Elsewhere, Gray surprises Chelsea with a gift.

Scrutinising Tim’s movements via an app, Sally freaks when she tracks him down to Aggie’s, wondering if Shona’s theory is right. Matters are made worse when Sally spots Aggie with her arm round Tim through the window.
As Tim plucks up the courage to tell Sally what’s really been going on, he’s suddenly wracked with pain and collapses, clutching his chest.
Meanwhile, Dev calls at No.5 with a food parcel but Chesney refuses his charity. Suddenly the electricity goes off. The social worker arrives and takes in the scene of chaos.
Elsewhere, as Amy and Summer lead a protest against the upskirters, Daniel secretly phones the Gazette.
Also, Craig probes the crutch’s origins; Leo has a suggestion for Jenny.
