Christmas season is upon us – which means Christmas songs can be heard on your shopping trips by the likes of Mariah Carey, Wham! and Michael Bublé. Love them or hate them, Christmas songs cannot be escaped from.

New research by online gifting retailer IWOOT has revealed which festive tunes have listened to the most over the years and which song has been given the most plays.

The team broke down the results into four categories, by analysing the most searched song, most played song on Tik Tok, Instagram and Spotify. This then determined the Ultimate Christmas Playlist.
