Dawn Hope joins the cast of Hollyoaks as ‘Pearl’

Actress Dawn Hope has joined the cast of Hollyoaks.

Dawn’s character, Pearl, is described by Hollyoaks bosses as ‘gregarious and forthright’, they further note that she has an adventurous side and isn’t planning to slow down any time soon.

Pearl has a connection to an existing resident of Hollyoaks village – she is the best friend of Walter’s late wife, Gloria.  Spending time with the Deveraux family gives Pearl the opportunity to reminisce fondly and reflect on her shared past with Walter.

With a life of experience that has taught her to cherish all the positives, could spiritual and fun-loving Pearl be just the tonic Walter needs?

Dawn is best known for her roles in acclaimed stage productions including Follies at The National Theatre and Little Shop of Horrors.

The actress’s first appearance on Hollyoaks will be on Thursday 9th September on E4 and again on Channel 4 on Friday 10th September.
