“I cannot wait to get back on the ice and for the crowds to witness this amazing show after such a troubled past 12 months of lockdowns. We hope to both wow and amaze!” – Dan Whiston
The producers ‘Fairytale On Ice’ have, over the course of the past 27 years, earned the reputation as being a leading ice show producer, entertaining millions of fans in more than 30 countries, over 6 continents, and as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Indonesia and Brazil.
We are all familiar with the timeless fairytale of Cinderella where, in a faraway land a long, long time ago, our heroine lived with her father and her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. Meanwhile, in the castle, the King was looking for a suitable bride for his son, the Prince, and so invited every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where his son would be able to eventually choose a bride.
Cinderella didn’t have a suitable party dress for the grand ball, but her friends the mice and the birds all helped to make her one before the evil stepsisters cruelly ripped it apart on the very evening of the ball.
However, all was not lost as a wonderful Fairy Godmother, a pumpkin carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of midnight, and the famous glass slipper all conspired to turn Cinderella’s fortunes around and bring her the happiest of endings.
This is, to date, ‘Fairytale On Ice’s’ biggest and most lavish touring ice show to come to the UK and the team behind it note it will be possibly ‘the most spectacular rendition of the evergreen Cinderella classic to have ever hit the ice in Europe’.
