The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Carla has hit rock bottom after her confession. Peter does his best to comfort her, while Roy is making it plain that he’s appalled by her actions. At number 8, Gary and Sarah mull over things, with Sarah noting that at least Gary didn’t accept Peter’s bribe. However, Sarah is later shocked to discover that Gary took the bribe after all. Meanwhile, Peter is outraged to discover that Kate has been to the police about Carla and soon, Carla is arrested for Gross Negligence Manslaughter. Will she tell all?

Johnny’s torn when his suggestion to check on Carla enrages Kate, so when Carla returns from the police station she receives a frosty reception from Johnny. Imran is out for justice and calls in the café to tell Roy that he intends to make Carla pay for her crimes. A disgusted Roy orders devastated Carla to move out and Carla turns to Peter for a place to stay. As Peter helps Carla with things, they’re accosted by an angry Kate.

Meanwhile, Gemma comes up with a dishonest solution to Brian’s local radio quiz ban. When Mary misses out on a £1,000 prize, Chesney tears a strip off Gemma, who later admits to Mary that she was fleeced.

Elsewhere, Paul and Billy both turn up to the same paper round and are amused to find out Rita has set them up. Later, they head to the Rovers for a beer – can the pair rekindle their relationship? Geoff impresses Yasmeen and Brian with his broad beans, neglecting to mention that they are supermarket bought.

Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Tony and Scott ask Laurie to clear the air with Sinead ahead of Lily’s return and he agrees. Later, the family are having a private celebration at The Hutch when Liberty bursts in and calls Sinead a home wrecker over her kiss with Sami.

Meanwhile, Sienna tells Brody what happened on the camping trip. She was worried about telling him as she thought he would cause a scene.

Sienna goes to speak to Sinead about Laurie’s manipulative behaviour, but Sinead thinks Sienna is gloating about spending the night with him.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
