Pick of the Plots: Wednesday August 1st
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks.
Sean makes out to Carol, a homeless woman, that he is sleeping rough for charity and gives her his tent. However, he does a u-turn when after Toyah pays him his wages, Dev tells him the bedsit has gone to someone else. Refusing to give up the tent, Carol directs Sean to some homeless hostels. Affronted, Sean waves his money in her face. Later, Carol finds Sean slumped in the toilets after being mugged and takes him to hospital where he admits that he is homeless. Things get worse for Sean when back at the rec he finds his things have been stolen.
Meanwhile, Alya is furious when a new client inspects some of the underwear only to find it full of holes caused by a moth. She blames Daniel and Sinead for the lost order prompting Daniel to say Sinead is leaving her job anyway as they are starting a new business. However, after a pregnancy test reveals Sinead is pregnant, Daniel and Sinead beg for her job back.
Elsewhere, Jenny urges Johnny not to give up on the factory; Gemma has a go at running the Rovers but overspends at the cash and carry; Billy prays at Josh’s bedside; and Carla agrees to put 25% towards Maria’s business plan.
Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Sam and Samson invite Lydia to accompany them to Alice’s grave. Lydia struggles when Sam and Samson talk about Alice’s cancer and Sam becomes aware that something is not right.
Elsewhere, Ross demands money and respect from an unimpressed Cain.

Ellie is still annoyed with Sami over the names and takes it out on Zack when in Price Slice. Later, just after Ellie and Sami make up and agree to find a name together Kyle shows up in a campervan…
Prince is fuming at Romeo for abandoning him whilst they were stealing a van full of beer from Marnie.
Romeo spots messages and missed calls on Prince’s phone from Lily who is at the hospital.He decides to go and see her there, however later glowers as he witnesses Lily and Prince make up – that wasn’t a part of his plan.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
