Bethany is enjoying a romantic meal with Ryan who has got the flat to himself. They share a kiss but Bethany freaks out as he tries to go further. Witnessing her daughter make a swift exit, Sarah confronts Ryan and angrily shoves him before exiting the flat. Ryan stumbles and hits his head before collapsing. Sarah later realises that she overreacted.
Meanwhile, Michelle and Robert sneak into the bistro freezer for some hanky panky (as you do) but end up getting locked in. Later, Daniel and Kate arrive at the eatery and let the shivering pair out, who return home to find an unconscious Ryan on the floor.
Elsewhere, David stuns Shona with a sudden proposal of marriage but she feels it is too soon; Sophie blames herself for Jack’s illness; Ken says he will pay for Tracy’s wedding if she has a double one with Daniel; Simon realises that Tyler has poisoned Eccles; and Toyah suggests some time out from the street for Simon until after the court case.

Marlon and Jessie are nervous as their date gets underway. Jessie gets cold feet when she spots pictures of Marlon’s ex-girlfriends littered around the flat.
David and Maya bond further whilst talking about their respective marriage woes.

Ellie has a moment of light-headedness and later collapses while working. At the hospital Ellie finds out the cause of her light-headedness; she is pregnant. Unaware of this, Sami decides to cool things off with her, leaving her devastated.
Meanwhile, James meets Ellie at the hospital to explain his reasons behind attacking Sami but she won’t listen. She calls DS Roxy and reports James for assault.
Elsewhere, Diane and Tony agree to let Tegan help out with Dee Dee; Farrah gets a job offer but it entails being away a lot and she worries about Kim; Glenn throws Adam’s ashes all over Grace during a row, despite finding out he has blood pressure issues.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
