Pick of the Plots: Monday June 25th

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Toyah tells Leanne she is not prepared to give up on Peter and lures him to the pub on the pretext of discussing the sale. He’s furious when he realises she’s invited a counsellor friend to help them salvage their relationship.

Kayla panics when her mum Marsha comes into Speed Daal and recognises Craig. Marsha is disapproving of Kayla’s plan to get close to Craig to help Neil’s appeal. Overhearing that her dad is in prison, Craig reveals that this is something they have in common. Kayla lies that her father is locked up for fraud. Meanwhile, having observed Kayla’s strange behaviour, Ryan shares his behaviour with Bethany and looks through Kayla’s bag.

Elsewhere, Adam discovers Vinny has left Flora £250K, Flora tells Daniel she can leave now; Abi gets one over on Steve; Liz lets Mike down gently; and Eva tells Adam that she has to focus on Susie.

Coronation Street, Monday at 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Mick tries to reassure Halfway, who is feeling guilty for letting their target get away.

Stacey suggests to Martin they make things official by him moving back home. When Martin tells Sonia the news, she hides her disappointment. Bex finds out second hand from Mo and Hayley and has some harsh words for her father. 

Later, Kat returns and is furious that Mo, Hayley, Jean and Stacey have decided to keep Charlie’s cab. Kat wants to pay Jean back so she can return to Ollie, however Kat then realises that Jean is hiding something.

Elsewhere, Carmel decides that she wants to set up a youth club; Bernie is avoiding Tiffany; and Ian and Masood butt heads about their business partnership.

EastEnders, Monday at 9.10pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Moira is horrified when Cain admits Simon’s back in the area but Cain reassures her that he’s going to get rid of him. Meanwhile at Butlers, a stranger lets themselves in and begins rifling through drawers.

Cain arrives and confronts the intruder knocking him out cold. When he comes round he reveals that his name is Matty but Cain doesn’t seem to know him. However, Moira immediately recognises him as her youngest daughter Hannah, who is now living as a man. Moira is hurt to learn he only came back for his birth certificate and has been living in Manchester all this time.

Elsewhere, Daz tells Dan, Kerry and Bernice about a ransom call he has received; Jai and Rishi confront Lachlan.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Cleo is confident she can beat her bulimia, but becomes despondent when she discovers how little calories she has burned off during a run.

Meanwhile, Harley and Peri are in The Bean when a friend of Harley’s, Ron, turns up. He tries to persuade Harley to go back to him but she tells him to leave her alone. However, a washing mishap causes Harley to change her mind, rejecting the Lomaxes in favour of Ron.

Elsewhere, Holly tries to get out of the situation she has found herself in; Cindy tells Zack that Damon cheated on Holly; Milo struggles to ask Liberty out.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Mrs Tembe finally gets the results of their application for sustainability accreditation. She tears the envelope open but looks disappointed with the results. The Mill is only awarded one star out of three with a list of recommendations but Mrs Tembe boasts to Ms Smail from their rival practice later.

Elsewhere, Alia and Shak both have a big exam today. But Alia seems really out of sorts and keeps getting messages. Alia insists it is just friends wishing her luck, but Shak is suspicious and eventually gets the truth out of Alia – Tarks made a video of her after they slept together and it is doing the rounds. Later, Shak and Tarks get into a fight.

Doctors, Monday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
