Pick of the Plots: Friday May 25th
We take a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
His suspicions growing about Nicola’s new friend, Gary does some research, uncovering the existence of a man fitting Phelan’s description at a caravan park in Wales. Gary and his friend Joe pull up at the campsite in Abergele and Gary’s shocked when he spots Phelan in the distance, alive and well!
Meanwhile, Nicola’s home alone at No.11 when she hears a noise upstairs. She stumbles and falls down the stairs. Having heard the noise, Fiz rushes round and is horrified to find Nicola lying unconscious at the foot of the stairs. Nicola is rushed into hospital for an emergency cesarean, will she and the baby survive?
Elsewhere, David’s incensed when Josh tries to come between him and Max; Robert has his stag do and Ali confides in Steve that Robert has been taking steroids and suffered a heart attack which Michelle doesn’t know about; and when Kim stops over at Fiz’s Hope tells Tyrone that she had a man to stay and asked her to spy on Daddy, Tyrone’s furious.
Coronation Street, Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.
The doctor breaks the news to the Kazemis that Shakil’s injuries were too severe and he didn’t make it.
Back in the Square, the day’s events make Kat think about her own children.

Luke is distraught after reading a message on Mandy’s iPad. He confides in Jack who encourages him to talk to Mandy. As he goes to speak to her the iPad receives another message…
Elsewhere, Nancy has received a letter from Fran who killed her sister but when she tells Darren, he tells her that she doesn’t need to see Fran ever again and should throw the letter away but will she?
Later, Mandy and Darren are messaging back and forth unaware Luke is reading the messages. They plan to meet in 20 minutes. Luke confronts Mandy…
Also tonight, Scott is with Dee Dee as Tony and Diane wait for news.
Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Mrs Tembe is relieved to discover that Amanda has not yet agreed with Jimmi’s plans and asks him to delay his decision. Daniel tells Emma about Jimmi’s plans. They resolve to speak to him and finally stage an intervention but Jimmi isn’t biting and eventually throws them out of his room.
At the end of the day, having spent the day preparing for the school charity ball, Zara is filling Daniel in on her successes but he’s distracted. Zara tells him to stop worrying – she has a plan – she thinks they can afford to buy Jimmi out. They can employ Jimmi as a salaried doctor and take sole control of the Practice.
