Pick of the Plots: Friday April 13th
We take a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Eva doesn’t know what to do for the best but makes a big decision about the baby.
As rumours of the steroid needle, discovered after the fight, and David’s possible addiction spread, he goes to the hospital to see Gary. Later, Shona tells David she saw him at Gary’s bedside and asks him if he is hooked on steroids. He denies it. Meanwhile Gary asks Sarah to marry him and she tells Gail and Audrey they are engaged again.
Elsewhere, Carla is concerned when she sees bruises on Michelle’s wrists. She follows Robert but what will she discover? Craig is thrilled to discover his police application has been successful; Simon denies stealing £20 from Toyah; and Zeedan enjoys looking after a poorly Rana.
Coronation Street, Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.
Billy is delighted when Mel offers him a trial as bar manager. However, as Billy gets to work and hires the Slaters to clean, he is dismayed when the trial abruptly comes to an end and he’s replaced by Woody. There’s more bad news for Billy when Honey is adamant that they’re not getting back together.
Meanwhile, Vincent lines up a buyer for his car but his plans are thwarted when another car crashes into it and drives off. With no insurance, Vincent turns to Phil for help but is left furious by Phil’s response. Fed up, Vincent considers taking potentially dangerous action.
Elsewhere, Ted is distraught as Jay takes Joyce’s body to the crem. The residents hold a wake for Joyce in the Vic.
EastEnders, Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
Charity tries to buoy a suffering Chas.
Meanwhile, Rhona urges Ross to book a doctor’s appointment.
Elsewhere, Vanessa is cheered when Charity tries to leave her past behind her.
Emmerdale, Friday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Mandy, Luke and Ollie are surprised to find Scarlett in the village and even more shocked when she reveals Ollie has begged her to take him home. Luke insists he has changed but is riled with Mandy when she doesn’t back him up. Later, Scarlett follows Luke to The Loft and Luke talks to Scarlett about Ella’s adoption but when Scarlett sees Mandy coming, she kisses Luke…
Meanwhile, Tony and Diane disagree over telling Dee Dee the truth about her illness. Tony is struggling with Dee Dee’s questions and pushes Diane for them to tell her she’s poorly. Diane gives in to the idea but when they tell Dee Dee she already knows she is poorly but questions if she is going to get better.
Elsewhere, Brody tries to comfort Damon over his break up from Holly but he’s hiding something. Damon soon discovers what Brody is hiding. Also, a rugged new face, Theo, tries his luck with Cindy at The Loft. Later, its revealed that Milo and Theo know each other.
Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
On day two of the course, the team get a chance to air their grievances – with each other.
Meanwhile, Daniel notices Lorna, a patient and former drug addict, outside the school as he drops Joe off. He sees her watching a little girl. Lorna reveals that Emily is her daughter who she had to give up. Daniel warns her to keep her distance. However, Lorna later returns to the school and intervenes when Emily falls off a scooter in the playground.
Also back on the scene, Daniel’s outraged to see Emily in the back of Lorna’s car and contacts the police. Later, as Daniel is locking up at Campus someone is lurking outside in a hoodie watching him. Shortly after he has gone, the hooded person breaks in and starts a fire.
