Pick of the Plots: Monday March 19th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

David stirs in Josh’s bed, horrified to realise he’s been raped. Back home, David desperately tries to cleanse himself after his ordeal, shoving his clothes into the bin. But he’s floored to see Josh sat chatting with Gail upon re-entering the house.

Josh shows no remorse, making out it was no big deal; they got drunk, had a laugh and had sex. Appalled David’s adamant he wouldn’t have consented to sex but Josh insists he was up for it leaving David reeling, was it his fault?

Elsewhere, Robert tries to make headway with Ali; Toyah and Eva are in a pickle when Leanne tags along to their ‘foreign language class’; Rosemary piques Gail’s interest.

Stacey seeks answers from Mo about what happened to Kat and when she learns Kat’s body is being sent over for the funeral, she’s determined to find the money to give Kat the send-off she deserves. The Carters agree to hold the wake for free.

Meanwhile, Martin learns what has happened and comes up with a plan to help raise the money, leaving Mo grateful. However when Stacey arrives, she chucks him out without giving him the chance to explain. Feeling guilty, Stacey goes round to apologise and Martin makes the point that someone needs to be there to support her.

Elsewhere, Mariam and Arshad are asked to look after a new baby, Harley.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.

Gabby pleads with her mum to respect her decision to take the blame. However, at the hospital Liv confesses to spiking Lisa’s drink. Soon, the police show up to arrest her but which Dingle called the police on Liv?

Meanwhile, Ross tries to cover his feelings about Debbie and Joe being back together but Pete sees through him. Charity chastises Debbie for being back with Joe.

Elsewhere, Brenda’s eager to stop Bob and Laurel spending time together; Marlon and Jessie are getting on.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Luke, Mandy, Ollie and Ella are packing for Florida where Luke and Mandy will get married. Mandy finds an empty vodka bottle hidden down the sofa – will Luke’s drinking jeopardise the wedding? Or could Darren be the one to stop it when he arrives in The Dog carpark as they prepare to leave?

Meanwhile, Darcy is moving out of The Osbourne’s when Jack discovers his voicemail from Frankie has been deleted from his phone. Later Darcy asks Jack to give their relationship another go, and Toby tells Esther more information about the voicemail.

Elsewhere, Milo catches Tony snooping in his room; Scott, Damon and Brody find out that they have inherited 20k each from Maggie.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Ayesha invites herself to the Icon with Ashley, but it is answers she is after, not profiteroles. Meanwhile, Daniel hunts all over campus for a student who has stolen something very precious to him – his identity.
