Shona arrives for her birthday meal at the Bistro with the Platts but she’s unsettled by Dane (Clayton’s dad) at a nearby table. Shona’s anxiety grows when Dane approaches David and she sets off the fire alarm. Outside, Shona agrees to meet Dane tomorrow with £1000. David watches them.
Elsewhere, Gary’s rattled when Phelan asks him about Nicola, later Sarah and Bethany are thrilled when Gary reveals he’s booked them all a trip to Milan; Fiz and Tyrone are outraged by Beth’s actions; will Rita go through with the sale of her flat?

Al looks after Joe whilst Daniel and Zara attend a dinner party.
Joe tries to pull a fast one on Al who is having none of it, but soon Joe has managed to turn the house into a complete mess. When Joe refuses to go to bed Al chases him, sending a costly looking vase crashing to the floor. Al finally gets Joe to bed and it’s a race against time to get the house ship shape before Daniel and Zara get back.
Back at the dinner party the wine is flowing and the conversation takes a suggestive turn.
