Bethany is startled when Mel turns up. Mel pleads her case to Bethany, revealing her fears about turning on Nathan. Bethany and Sarah invite her to stay the night in the hope they can change her mind, however Gail and Audrey are less trusting.
With everyone in bed at No.8, Mel surreptitiously takes out her phone to make a call. What is she up to? Meanwhile, Sarah’s thrilled when Gary returns from Ukraine, but Anna’s appalled when she probes the source of a bruise on his back.
Elsewhere, Todd’s suspicious of Adam’s sudden cash boost; Andy makes a proposal to Phelan; Michelle’s delighted when Robert suggests they become partners in the Bistro; and Liz is overjoyed at the prospect of returning to the Rovers.

When Laurel decides to go and stay with her sister, Gabby persuades Arthur to help her teach Emma a lesson.
Arthur carries out his role by telling Emma that he had a dream in which Ashley told him to be nice to her. Later, Gabby “haunts” Emma at the church, however, after some initial confusion, Emma realises who is behind it. At home, Gabby’s pleased with her prank and relays it to an uneasy Arthur, naïve to the danger she might be in. Meanwhile in Dale View, Emma holds Gabby’s crucifix necklace as she prays for God to forgive her wrongdoing.
Elsewhere, Gerry spies on Lachlan and Belle for Robert.

Tom and Charlie discover a badly-beaten Hunter in The Folly. At the hospital, Hunter tells Prince it was Mac but when Myra confronts Mac and Neeta, Neeta gives Mac an alibi. Later, Mac appears at Hunter’s hospital bedside and issues a menacing threat.
Darren warns Nancy not to bring Charlie and Oscar to see him after getting into trouble with his cell mates for being a grass. However, an oblivious Tom promises to take Charlie to see Darren.
Elsewhere, Ellie is furious when she catches Damon kissing another lass; Yasmine’s older brother, Sami arrives.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Daniel gets a visit from a woman, Yoshiko Tanaka who is concerned about her father. Akio has cancer and is dying, but his end of life plans are unusual to say the least. Can Daniel persuade Akio that mellification isn’t a good idea?
Meanwhile, back at Campus, Valerie is asked to give a talk to medical students about beating cancer. But as she prepares for it, she ends up having a crisis of confidence. Emma steps in to help but will she be able to persuade Valerie to go through with it?
