SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Alex’s plans to cease his criminality are abruptly stalled when he is kidnapped by a dangerous face from the past – Rick Harper. Alex pleads for his life but Rick reminds him he has a debt outstanding and comes up with a plan to get his hands on Lenny’s cash.
Realising it’ll mean he’ll have blood on his hands if he agrees, Alex feels utterly compromised. He faces an agonising decision, but will do anything to protect his family this time around. However, just when Alex thinks he’s faced his demons, Rick delights in dropping another bombshell.
Elsewhere, Lenny’s MS symptoms cause Lydia concern; there’s trouble in paradise for Kim, Bob and Angus.
River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.
Martin does his best to support a worried Stacey ahead of Arthur’s appointment. At the hospital, the doctor reveals Arthur is at high-risk of getting Brugada Syndrome. Martin later confides in Michelle but as he admits to having reservatons about the new baby, Stacey walks in.
Karen is relieved when a loan shark delivers her some cash but her mind turns elsewhere when she realises how upset Bernadette is over what happened with the baby.
Elsewhere, it’s Johnny’s birthday; Michelle continues to be irritated by Tom.
EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.
Emma is confused when she finds a prayer card on James’s grave. She gets to thinking that it’s a message from James on the other side, but Ross suspects Laurel is a more likely candidate. Laurel denies any involvement, meanwhile, Arthur realises that it was Gabby who left the card.
Marlon smugly announces he’s managed to secure a date. Later the date takes a shine to Paddy and gives him her number. Will he break the dating code and call her?
Elsewhere, Paddy is given a dilemma; Robert tries to manipulate Gerry.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Prince barges into The Dog and attacks Damon, leaving Ellie no choice but to get Mac to help. However, it’s a set up by Hunter to get Neeta out of the flat. Later, Neeta and Hunter both pay for the price for stealing a moment together.
The Maalik’s frantically try and find Yasmine before she misses the opportunity for a transplant. Meanwhile, Alfie encourages Yasmine to return home, but it’s not good news when she gets there.
Elsewhere, Holly is worried that Ellie is moving too fast with Damon; Adam doesn’t stop Maxine from going to America.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Rob is dreading his first day back at work after everything that happened with Bren.
Ruhma is fretting about Shak going back to college to re-sit his exams; he just doesn’t seem that committed. Heston suggests Shak might have lost his ‘get up and go’ but is he right?
Elsewhere, Zara has a bike-riding lesson with Sid, keen to prove a point to Daniel; Rob struggles to focus when he meets a woman similar to Bren.
