Lawrence is set against bringing on-board a new business investor. Later the doctor visits to retake his bloods as there was a mix up with his last result piquing Lachlan’s suspicions. Robert worries he will be implicated for spiking the brandy. Meanwhile, Lawrence’s hopes are raised when a letter arrives from Ronnie in Brussels.

As the inquest into Bren’s death begins, Ayesha makes it clear where she apportions blame.
The pressure starts getting to Rob who momentarily blanks out after being called to give evidence. Rob admits that he checked on Bren twice but failed to record it in the log. Samira’s testimony confirms his version of events but reveals that Emma failing to inform her of Rob’s lapse in memory, was a serious breach of her duties.
As the jury deliberate, Ayesha approaches Emma and Rob, telling them they killed her mother. Rob is more accepting of this than Emma is. Later, everyone awaits the verdict with bated breath.
