Rob and Karen’s day off is interrupted by a phone call from the IPCC. Samira tells Karen she needs to talk to Rob about a child that went missing in a park. Karen questions Rob, worried for the poor child completely unaware it was Marnie.
Later, Samira questions Rob and he explains what happened, apologising for making a mistake. He insists there is nothing wrong with him, but his demeanour is of concern to Samira. Samira eventually agrees to let it drop. Back home, Rob gets further irate when Karen suggests they foster again.
