ESPN reveal 2017 NCAA College Football coverage

ESPN Player will bring unrivalled coverage of the 2017 NCAA College Football season to fans across the EMEA region, anytime, anywhere the company has announced.

The live and on-demand sports streaming service will give viewers the opportunity to watch more than 600 college football games on their desktops, iPads and mobile phones.

On Thursday 31st August, 2014 national champions Ohio State headline a slate of nine games available on ESPN Player as they visit Indiana. The first Saturday of the season, 2nd September, sees 29 games available to watch live, including a host of major clashes. Pre-season favourites and number one-ranked Alabama take on number three-ranked Florida State, while reigning national champions Clemson welcome Kent, and powerhouses Michigan and Florida go head to head.

Alongside the extensive schedule of games featuring the biggest teams in U.S. college football, ESPN Player lets subscribers follow the news, discussions and debate surrounding College Football direct from the U.S. with 24/7 simulcasts of three ESPN TV networks. The SEC Network, dedicated to one of college sports’ powerhouse conferences, ESPNU, which focuses exclusively on college sports, and the Longhorn Network, the official channel of the Texas Longhorns, are all available on ESPN Player.

ESPN’s highly acclaimed and award-winning pre-game show, ESPN College Gameday, will also be available all season long, bringing the one-of-a-kind build-up and insight into the biggest games. Televised every Saturday at 2pm BST (3pm CET), College Gameday is ESPN’s flagship show for College Football, with excitement each week from on site at some of the biggest games, in-depth analysis from a renowned panel of experts. The first episode of the season will air on Saturday 2nd September.
